A Colorful St. Patrick's Day Kids Party

A Colorful St. Patrick's Day Kids Party

Somewhere over the rainbow is a pot of GOLD! That’s what we’d like to think, right? Why not indulge your kids in this extra colorful St. Patrick’s day party, full of sparkle and fun. Get creative with all the colors of the rainbow, then mix and match from a variety of party supplies with the St. Patrick’s day theme and your everyday solid colored party supplies.

St. Patrick

St. Patrick Create a fun atmosphere with a white fringe backdrop and metallic shamrock hanging decorations. Don't forget to hang that pot of gold lantern, perfect for a photo backdrop! St. Patrick St. Patrick Dress up the kids' table with the shamrocks and rainbow tablecloth. I always add a table skirt to hide the legs of the table. I used a green table skirt to coordinate with the theme, but really any color would work with this rainbow pot of gold party. I used the red square dinner plates, rainbow napkins and white cutlery. I prefer the square dinner plates with kids, they seem to be larger. You could also use various colors for the cutlery, for example, orange forks, blue spoons, and green knives. Get creative--I spread out some gold chocolate coins on the table for some edible confetti. It looked as though they fell from our pot of gold:-) St. Patrick It was an absolute must, to have some sparkling green photo props. Each kid got their own Mini St. Patrick's Hats and glittery shamrock glasses! Doesn't Ella look cute? St. Patrick In order to jazz up the tableware, I added some cute St. Patrick's day foam shapes to the green paper cups, along with some gold paper straws. A super simple solution for any party! St. Patrick St. Patrick What's a party without a silly activity! Each kid got to discover what their leprechaun name would be! My son Evan really enjoyed coloring his own leprechaun name wheel. Then we all went around the table and had some laughs about our new "leprechaun" nicknames. St. Patrick Last but certainly not least, every party needs to have a favor! I created a rainbow coloring party favor for each kiddo to take home. See my step-by-step instructions for how I put these together, here. St. Patrick We love parties in my house and find every excuse to have one. I want my kiddos to embrace their silly side and never feel too old to play games or be crafty. Need more sparkling rainbow ideas? Check out how I made these rainbow pots of gold (chocolate gold, that is)! How does your family celebrate St. Patrick's day? We'd love to see how you use our festive products in your celebration. Make sure to tag #orientaltrading when you share. DIY Rainbow Pots of Gold
