As the spring months approach it is important to promote kindness in and out of the classroom. These six easy ideas will help you promote and maintain a positive and kind classroom environment for your students that will carry on throughout the rest of the school year. All of these ideas are easy to implement and do not require any prep. Add these kindness ideas to your classroom behavior systems that are already in place to create a positive and fun place to be!

When you notice a student doing something kind, reward them with a Kindness Award Certificate! These certificates are a great way to recognize students. Students can also bring these home to show their families what amazing kiddos they are!

Reward groups with kindness coins when they are "caught" doing something kind! These coins can be stored in paint cans. This way groups can watch their cans fill up with all of the kind deeds they have done together. Store them on the groups table or in the front of the room for all to see!
