Begin by taping off the blank gingerbread men ornaments asymmetrically across the middle. Then paint one side with one color of acrylic craft paint. For more pastel colors of paint, try mixing primary colored acrylic craft paint with white to get the perfect colors for your decor. Repeat with the other gingerbread men ornaments. Next, remove the tape and paint the other side a coordinating color. Once the paint is dry, use a gold paint pen to draw on eyes, buttons, and a mouth.

When the white paint drys, cut pieces of clear cellophane into large squares and wrap the balls in the cellophane wrap. Use 4" pieces of chenille stems to twist around each end to make the styrofoam ball look like a wrapped candy.
