Engage kids with their favorite cat character, Pete the Cat while learning how to lace and tie shoes! Print out the shoe printable onto White Cardstock and cut out. Using a hole punch, punch out holes where the shoelaces go. Kids can color the shoes using Markers or Crayons. Once the shoes are colored, kids can then string Bright Tipped Lacing Yarn to thread through the shoes. Pete is all about his shoes and kids will love this activity inspired by Pete's groovy shoes.

If your kids love The Cat in the Hat, they'll love this next craft! Create a silly striped hat just like the one that crazy and adventurous cat wears! Print out the red stripes and red circle onto White Cardstock. Cut the pieces out and wrap the red stripes around a White Craft Roll and adhere to the craft roll using Glue. Next, cut out the red circle and glue it onto the craft roll. Place the entire hat on top of a Black Fabric Headband and secure using Hot Glue. Pop that hat on and you're all set to go on a wild ride with the Cat in the Hat!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a favorite of many young readers and this caterpillar project is a super simple craft for little ones. Print the green leaf printable onto White Cardstock and cut out. Place a line of Glue across the leaf and stick on 4 green and one red pom pom. Glue Googly Eyes onto the red pom pom and attach Chenille Stems to the top of the caterpillar's head using glue. Kids will love their playing with their little caterpillar while reading through this fun and colorful book.

The classic story comes alive with this craft that features three cute little pigs and one big bad wolf. Kids will love role-playing with these cute characters while following along with the story. Print and cut out the house image, this will be your template. Trace the houses onto Cardstock and cut the houses out. Next, Glue Mini Wooden Craft Sticks, and bits of Straw onto two of the houses. Draw lines onto the third house to resemble bricks. Cut White Craft Rolls in half for the pigs and use a full craft roll for the wolf. Cut out and wrap Cardstock around the craft rolls. Attach googly eyes and cut out mini triangles for the ears and adhere to the craft rolls.

If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, he might ask you to do a craft! The silly tale of a demanding mouse inspired these wooden mouse spoons and mini cookies. Using Acrylic Paint, paint Wood Spoons and DIY Unfinished Wood Circles and allow to dry. Next, attach Googly Eyes to the spoons and cut Chenille Stems for the whiskers. Glue a Tiny Pom Pom on top of the chenille stem whiskers. Print and cut out the ears and attach them to the back of the spoon using glue. Kids will have a blast reading and playing along with the story using their mice and cookies!
