4th of July is around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about your patriotic festivities! Whether you are hosting an intimate dinner, a block party or a backyard BBQ, you can pull of a fantastic event with a few special details and DIY touches. It’s amazing how far a little washi tape and ribbon can go!
Setting the Scene Start by hanging Red & Blue Semi Fanburst Garlands above your table. I hung four. Two hanging to the left and two hanging to the right. Make sure to leave room in the center to hang three White Square Lanterns. Spruce up the lanterns with lots of Red, White and Blue Striped Ribbon (see the project HERE). Scatter Patriotic Punch Balls, Red and White Striped Lanterns and Blue and White Polka Dotted Lanterns around the floor by the table for extra flair and dimension!
The Table Setting Next set the table with Red Dinner Plates and top with Blue Polka Dot Dessert Plates. I love the look of the layered plates and mixed patterns. Place a white plastic fork to the left of the plate and a spoon and knife on a Blue Luncheon Napkin. Create a firework place setting by wrapping red and white Chenille Stems around a napkin, knife and spoon. Above your plate, place your Confetti Cup (get instructions) and 4th Of July Tin Party Favor (get instructions HERE to tutorial).
The last step is to place your patriotic goodies on cake stands in the middle of the table. Angie of Fancy Eats & Sweets made a Red, White and Blue cake roll, Firework Cupcakes and Cake Pops and Chocolate-Covered Meringues.
