Make a simple unicorn costumeDIY Unicorn Tails

Not only did we make Unicorn horn headbands we also made a unicorn tail for a fun party costume. The tails were super simple to make and only required two supplies and a pair of scissors.

Make It: Cut three a section of three tassels from the table skirting. Removed the self-adhesive covering and roll the plastic around itself. Then cut the ribbon long enough to go around the child with an addition 6-8 inches for a bow. Tie the ribbon through the tassel top and then tie around the child.Sand art Star keychainSand Art Station

Sand art is a party favorite of my kids. We get the giant bottles and they last for ever. We use them with the sand art containers and on printable sheets with glue. The party last year was Beach Themed party with a Candy Bar and Seashell Sand art necklaces.

Make It: Pour sand into smaller containers and a spoon for each color. You might want to have a few extra spoons so there are enough for each child. This really is the most popular activity next to the sweet treats. Show the kids how to use the funnel if they are not familiar with the activity. Other than that stand back and let the kids have fun. If you want to seal the container closed you can add some glue to the top before adding the cap.Make a bead rainbow using foam craft ballsBead Rainbow

This adorable project is a great favor and activity your unicorn party. Make it easy for the kiddos by sorting the colors into a muffin tin.

Make It: Print enough rainbows for each child. I am sure they will not want to share. Pour craft glue onto a paper plate or in a cup with the top cut off. Add enough cotton swabs for each child. I used a muffin tin to hold the foam craft balls.Rainbow craft beads for kidsIf you want to have a Unicorn Party or even a Rainbow Party visit my other tutorials Rainbow PunchDIY Unicorn HornsUnicorn Party and Decorations.
