Ain't nuthin' but a youngsta party! Your one-year-old is now two and what better way to celebrate than with this colorful throwback 90's hip hop birthday party! We've brought back the old school hip hop vibe with poppin' 90's colors, FREE Printables full of our fave old school hip hop quotes and a few boom boxes thrown in for good measure!
We wanted our toddler hip-hop party to pack a colorful punch, so we used royal blue, lime green, bright orange and sunny yellow partyware products on a clean, white table to get the necessary look. Check out all of our our FREE Party Printables that were designed to play off this poppin ' color palette.
Each place setting began with a Black Chevron Dinner Plate and was topped with a colorful paper dessert plate in either Blue, Orange or Lime Green.
The dessert plate was finished off with our Hip Hop Hooray printable plate decal that we printed on White Cardstock.
The plate decals come in various, coordinating colors so you can mix and match each place setting however you'd like! Top with a Clear Plastic Dessert Plate for a mess-free snackin' experience.
Coordinating cutlery in either Blue, Lime Green or Yellow was placed on a Black Chevron Beverage Napkin.
We added in a Patriotic Peace Sign Enamel Pin that we spray painted yellow to bring in some more 90s detail.
Glass Milk Bottles were decked out with our printable drink labels.
Our guests were able to sip either milk or juice through Lime Green Striped Paper Straws topped with our 2 legit 2 quit printable straw toppers.
The last detail of our place settings were the fab party favors. Our little hip-hop enthusiasts were gifted either Blue or Orange shutter shades that we added printable favor tags to.
These made for some pretty sweet toddler selfies!
We used large Cassette Tape Buckets filled with green crinkle paper to hold our Two Legit 2 Quit centerpiece.
We used Pacon® Self-Adhesive White Bulletin Board Letters and attached them to Small Wooden Craft Sticks to make the signage.
The centerpiece was flanked by two Bright Picture Frames that held our free printable table signs; which reminded our guests that their "ain't nothin' like a youngsta party ".
Our table sat in front of a sleek backdrop that we made using a Black Fringe Door Curtain, Number Two Silver Mylar Balloon, Inflatable Boom Box and Jumbo Bulletin Board Letters.
The trim of the Black Fringe Door Curtain is self-adhesive, making it super easy to hang from the wall! We used Black Ribbon to layer the Number Two Balloon on top of the Curtain and then painted the Jumbo Bulletin Board Letters Blue and strung them to form the word legit to go with our 2 legit to quit party theme!
Add in that Inflatable Boom Box and you've got a kickin' backdrop!
