It’s time to drink champagne, dance on the table and celebrate the coming year at our Gatsby-inspired New Year’s Eve party! With a chic pallet of black, white and gold and an array of the 1920s-themed decor, you will find no better way to ring in the new year! Be sure to check out ALL of our Favorite New Year's Eve Party Ideas here.
Setting The Scene: We set our table with a dramatic Black Rectangle Tablecloth, layered with gold foil paper and a silver Metallic Lily Table Runner. We just love the pattern on this table runner and think it was the perfect fit for the 1920s theme!
The Decor: Our DIY Martini Glass Centerpieces were the focal point of the table and let our guests know exactly what kind of party they were attending! These centerpieces were so simple to make. We were thrilled with how they turned out! Who knew a few strands of pearls, some fresh flowers and a few feathers could look so chic!?
We also added in a few Art Deco-inspired vases that held at some beautiful black and white ostrich feathers because you simply can't have a Gatsby inspired party without feathers!
The Place Setting: Each guests' place setting included a Round Black Dinner Plate and Art Deco Dessert Plate layered on top of some other color-coordinated plates. Our Champagne Jell-O Parfaits were housed in Tiny Pedestal Clear Cups and sat atop a black painted Clear Cupcake Stand. This was the perfect, subtly sweet treat to enjoy at the end of our meal.
Gold plated utensils were placed on Black Polyester Napkins and champagne was served in a Mini Classic Champagne Appetizer Glasses. We added our own gold garland swizzle sticks for an extra special New Year's Eve touch! You can easily make these by cutting an inch of gold garland and hot gluing it to the end of a bamboo skewer!
Guests also enjoyed blowing bubbles from Mini Champagne Bottle Bubbles as the clock struck midnight!
We just adore our simple and stylish gold bar cart! It was the perfect fit for this party theme. Our "It's Time to Drink Champagne and Dance on the Table" printable was placed in an ornate, gold frame and hung as a backdrop for our champagne station along with a Gold Fringe Garland.
This quote is just fabulous and pretty much our life motto! Get the printable here! We added a few strands of pearls and some additional feathers around the frame to give it more of a Gatsby vibe! Champagne was housed in more Mini Classic Champagne Appetizer Glasses and placed on a black cake stand.
Our DIY New Year's Wine Bottle Centerpiece was a fun and fabulous way to add in some thematic New Year's Eve Decor! And how cute are those Gold Glitter Table Numbers?!
We just loved styling this Gatsby-inspired New Year's Eve party and know that there's no better way to bring in 2017! Cheers!
