100 Days Smarter Classroom Celebration

100 Days Smarter Classroom Celebration

The 100th day of school is a fun and exciting milestone to reach in every classroom. It signifies that the halfway point of the year has passed, and the finish line to the end of the school year is near. But most importantly, it presents the opportunity to help students think about all their hard work and celebrate the progress they've made. To me, that's definitely cause for celebration! Here are some of my favorite ideas to help you and your students celebrate how smart they are.

Table Set Up

The easiest way to get started with a 100th day party is to deck out your classroom with tons of 100th day items! For your center backdrop, inflate these large Number Shaped Mylar Balloons with a Large Helium Tank. Accent your backdrop with a tassel garland and 100th-day hanging paper lanterns. Use plastic tablecloths to cover your tables and give your classroom a fun pop of color. Place hanging paper lanterns around your room, and decorate your classroom with the supplies needed for your 100 Days Smarter celebration centers.

Having no-prep centers for your little smarties will keep them engaged during this fun-filled day and leave you stress-free! You can plan to have children rotate through each center in small groups to make the process easier and give students time to enjoy each center.

100th Day of School Picture Frame Magnet Kit

In this center, students will have fun making their 100th day of school souvenir frame. It'll make a great keepsake for students. They can keep their favorite school year picture, or you can print a picture from your 100th day of school celebration. To prep this center use the 100th Day Picture Frame kit. It's ready to go with self-adhesive foam pieces and photo space. There's no cutting, pasting, or mess required for this activity. Teacher WIN!

100th Day of School Crowns and Glasses

Kids will be excited to color their own 100thDay of School Crowns & Glasses! This center will support their unique creativity by allowing them to use their own color choices for their craft. Hand out Mr. Sketch® Scented Markers, Crayola® 24-Color Crayons, and 24-Color Crayola® Colored Pencils to students so they can personalize their crowns and glasses.

"It's All about the 100th Day of School" Poster

In this center kids will write, color, and draw all about this exciting day on their 100th Day of School Poster. They will use Mr. Sketch® Scented Markers, Crayola® 24-Color Crayons, and 24-Color Crayola® Colored Pencils to add color to the posters. When students get done you can have them share their posters and hang them up around your classroom for some extra fun decor!
