The 10 Commandments, found in Exodus 19-20, are laws that God gave to His people so that they would know how to live righteously. The first four commandments teach us what it means to love God and have a right relationship with Him. The last six commandments teach us what it means to love others and honor God through our relationships with others. As you are teaching the 10 Commandments these activities and resources will be a fun addition to your Sunday School or Bible lesson.

My Book of the 10 Commandments Craft Kit would be a great addition to your lesson as you're learning about the 10 Commandments in Sunday School. All of the pieces needed to assemble the books come in individual packets, which makes this teacher's heart so happy! For younger children I would recommend tying the pages and covers together before the lesson. Then the kids can attach the self-adhesive pieces to the cover and color each of the 10 commandment pages!

Using hands is the perfect visual to remember the 10 Commandments since there is a commandment for each finger! This 10 Commandments Handprint Craft Kit is such a fun way for children to learn and remember the 10 Commandments. The kit comes with all of the pieces and paint that you need to make the craft. You will just need a foam paintbrush to paint each of the children's hands. Since the paint will need time to dry before applying the self-adhesive 10 Commandment tablets to each finger, I'd recommend doing the painting before your lesson or doing the project over 2 days. Kids will be so excited to take these home to hang up!
